Navigating the Dashboard

The Teralo dashboard is your central hub for accessing projects and staying informed. This guide explains how to navigate the interface effectively.

Your Personal Dashboard

When you log in, you'll see your personal dashboard showing:

  • Your Organisations: All organisations you're a member of
  • Your Projects: Projects you've been invited to
  • Profile Completion: A progress indicator for your account setup

View Options

You can display your projects in different formats:

  • List View: Compact list showing project names and key details
  • Tile View: Visual grid with project cards
  • Detailed View: Expanded cards with mail statistics and activity charts
  • Map View: Geographic view of project locations

Project Dashboard

When you open a project, you'll see the project-specific dashboard with:

Dashboard Cards

The host organisation can customise which cards appear on your dashboard:

  • Recent Activity: Latest updates across all project modules
  • Team Members: Quick access to the project directory
  • Open Items: Outstanding tasks requiring attention
  • Weather Widget: Current and forecast weather for the project location
  • Custom Messages: Announcements from the project host

The left sidebar provides access to all project features. Available options depend on your permissions:

  • Dashboard: Return to the project overview
  • Directory: View team members
  • Documents: Access project files
  • Mail: View correspondence
  • Contracts: View contract information
  • Procurement: View procurement status
  • Quality & Safety: Site documentation and inspections
  • AI Chat: Ask questions about the project
  • Calendar: View project schedule

Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) to open quick search. This lets you:

  • Find people in the project
  • Search for documents
  • Navigate to specific features

Switching Between Projects

If you're a member of multiple projects:

  1. Click the organisation/project selector in the top navigation
  2. Choose the organisation (if you belong to multiple)
  3. Select the project you want to view

Customising Your Experience

Notification Preferences

Control which notifications you receive:

  1. Go to Settings > Account > Preferences
  2. Adjust email notification settings
  3. Set your preferred language and timezone

Theme

Toggle between light and dark mode using the theme switcher in the navigation bar.
